Wirral has medieval hamlets, villages and towns with grand halls, archaeological remains, historic buildings, fine churches and graveyards. We will journey chronologically looking at influential people and important events using documents, maps and photographs which reveal much in terms of lifestyle, custom, social hierarchy and wealth. With additional local visits, this will be a great course for the beginner and for the accomplished local historian!
