Mike Brocken wrote and taught the world’s first ever Masters degree concerning the Beatles and Merseybeat. Throughout this course, Mike discusses case studies from his own published research in order to bring perhaps different historical perspectives concerning the rise of Merseybeat, the creative development and the business of the Beatles, and the importance of the city, places and spaces from which they emerged.
