Simon Michael, a barrister for 37 years, and bestselling author, is invited to give us some fascinating tales from the bar.

Simon worked at the Old Bailey and other criminal courts and has gathered enough real-life stories to populate an entire series of crime fiction. He has a reputation as the British John Grisham for his legal thriller series, featuring Charles Holbourne, born Charles Horowitz, former boxer and occasional criminal!

The books and Simon’s talk draws from the headlines of the day, the criminal cases in which Simon was instructed and his own family history.
