November 2022 marks the centenary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun, one of the greatest archaeological discoveries ever made.  This course will examine the significance of the trove.  The layout of the tomb, painted decoration, physical remains, and objects excavated will be evaluated.  We will consider what they reveal about life in New Kingdom Egypt and the family relationships of the King.
