Wirral Villages

Researching local history is more than a purely academic pursuit. Anyone can do it! Wirral has medieval villages, archaeological remains, historic buildings, fine churches and graveyards. We will examine two villages  from their origins to the present day, visiting, looking at documents, maps, photographs etc. to reveal much in terms of lifestyle, custom, social hierarchy and wealth. A great course for the beginner or for the accomplished local historian!
