£10.00 per walk (non-members + £1.00)
Enjoy a pleasant morning stroll and gather some tips to improve your picture taking abilities. The walks will start around 10.00am, take about two hours, finishing with refreshments in a nearby cafe or pub, for those who wish.
The walks are open to all members and their friends, of any current ability (not just those who have attended a 3Ls photography course).
Enrol at the 3Ls Office and written joining details will be provided.
For the two Cheshire Village walks, car sharing will be offered starting from the Civic Centre.
Bunbury Cheshire - April 10th Tuesday
One of Cheshire's stunning locations, it combines canal side photo opportunities with a series of locks, with an 'olde-worlde' village which has been used in several TV series, with a classic award winning pub, where we will lunch.
Liverpool Two Cathedrals - April 16th Monday
Starting at the Metropolitan (RC) Cathedral we will stroll along Hope Street to the Anglican Cathedral and visit the little known St. James Gardens. Lunch at a historic Liverpool pub.
Chester City Centre and Riverside - April 26th Thursday
Every list of summer walks has to include a favorite venue Chester, but this one will include a 'secret' side trip venue as a surprise - mainly 'street scenes' plus a few landscapes for us to snap. Lunch at the Albion Real Ale pub (as usual!)
Mayer Park and Port Sunlight - May 2nd Wednesday
A local venue - with a difference. We will be joined by a model who will provide opportunities to practice our outdoor portrait photography techniques. (Small additional charge to cover the model's expenses). Lunch at the Port Sunlight Garden Centre or a local pub.
Marbury Mere - May 11th Friday
Marbury Mere is a little known Cheshire gem about 20 miles south of Chester. Beautiful church on a hill, mere and tiny village green; with a traditional pub called 'The Swan' where we can take our lunch.
